Hi everybody. I hope this message finds you all well.
I cooked my motor recently and I am looking for a decent 2nd TD42 diesel motor for my 1989 GQ Nissan Patrol.
I have 2 motors lined up with a asking price of $3500 for each one. the compression test on one was 480 to 500 on each cylinder and the other showed 26 to 28 on all cylinders. Apparently one is quoted in metric and the other in imperial. The figures mean little to me. Is this a good reading?
Anyone got a good motor out there or know someone who does?
I would appreciate any information or advice. All replies will be answered.
