Whilst in Glen Innes last fortnight, I had the need to visit a local engineering workshop. KENT Engineering, to get a damaged thread cleaned and refitted.
Brian and Barb were also there, getting their caravan's overheated wheel bearings replaced. It was so good to see them both again, and we nattered for some time. Unfortunately Brian's back pain precludes them from undertaking any off road 4x4 activities. Which is a real pity, as they were great clubbers, that most of us still remember well.
I did invite them to visit our campsite in the Glen Innes Showgrounds, but they must have been keen to get home, after 2 weeks camping further south.
Brian still looks in here as Dalby, in fact he did so today, which reminded me of our meeting.
