If you have purchased a snatch strap from 4WD and Outdoor Supacentre, Tigerz11 or Express Publications recently or have a strap that has "Hercules" on it, you need to read this.
All Hercules 8,000kg and 11,000kg snatch straps with the batch number 130724 are being recalled.
These straps are only rated at about half of their advertised rating i.e. the 8,000kg strap is only good for 5,000kg and the 11,000kg is only good for up to 6,000kg.
