This information may affect some trips.

http://www.kyogle.nsw.gov.au/cmst/kc006/view_doc.asp?id=661&cat=67

Notification of Current Road Closures as at Monday, February 4, 2008, 9:15am

Many roads in the Kyogle Local Government Area have been damaged by the recent flooding. Temporary works have been carried out which have enabled most roads to be reopened to traffic but it will be many months before all of the flood related damage has been fully repaired.
It is recommended that travel on roads which have been flood damaged be limited to essential trips only. Please be aware that driving may be hazardous in those areas, and take note of any temporary signage or barriers which may be in place.
Hazards which may exist include potholes in both sealed and unsealed roads, very rough surfaces, slippery and boggy areas, and debris on roadways and bridges.
Many bridges have sustained damage which may limit their load carrying capacity. Operators of heavy vehicles should check their route for additional hazards associated with heavy or high loads.

The following roads which were closed or severely affected by flood damage are now reopened to traffic with caution:

RICHMOND CATCHMENT
Afterlee Road
Lillypilly Lane
Back Creek Road
Risk Road
Baileys Bridge Road
impkins Creek Road
Barnes Road
Smiths Creek Road
**Gradys Creek Road & Lions Road
Sugar Glider Road
Lavelles Road
Theresa Creek Road
Leadbeatters Road
Tree Fern Road

**NO ACCESS TO QLD VIA THIS ROUTE Please note that although open as far as the Queensland Border, the Lions Road is closed to traffic in Beaudesert Shire for the next three to five weeks. Gates are in place between the Border Gate and Bell Bridge (crossing No. 5), allowing access only for residents and emergency vehicles.

CLARENCE CATCHMENT
Boomi Creek Road
Old Lawrence Road
Glen Road
Paddys Flat Road
Hills Road
Peacock Creek Road
Hootens Road
Tabulam Road

The Duck Creek Road mentioned is down in the Clarence Catchment. Apparently this is not the Duck Creek Road that goes up to O'Reilly's.
One is always learning!

Sorry if this caused any confusion.
