hi all,
I've recently purchased my first patrol & I'm looking at getting some 3rd row (dicky) seats any info on how much, what type, where from, how to install etc would be greatly appreciated. BTW its the base model 2006 wagon 3.0 ltr diesel |

Check around the wreckers or on EBay, factory 3rd row seats come up often. Using factory seating will be a lot less hassle (and cheaper)than aftermarket as the holes should already be in the floor to bolt straight in. You will need the seat belts as well.
If you want the seats to fold up when not in use you will also need the over head grab handles as this is what they secure to.
Cost should be around $300-400.
If you are permanently changing the seating capacity of your vehicle you will need and engineering certificate and modification plate.

Tony is right in saying the original equipment seats will be the best and easiest option. It may also pay to talk with someone in the industry if you choose to change the seating for after market of which there are several options. My wife Leanne runs her own business and fits and modifies seating arrangements for many vehicles. She would definitely be able to steer you in the right direction even if your only after suggestions, advice or prices. Her Business is All Van Mods in Moss St. 3209 5913

I have 3rd row seats out of my 2010 Patrol 3l. auto wagon, newish condition. Don't know if they will fit. |
