is anyone going on this, if so is there a meeting point prior to the general meeting point time or does one just arrive and look for everyone else? |

Destination: Highway Thunder Convoy for Kids 2012
Meeting Site: Loganholme Hyperdome rear car park then under convoy to Parklands Showground on the Gold Coast
Trip Gathering Time: 7:00am
Trip Kickoff / Departure: 8:30am
Expected Fees or Extra costs: $10 - Motor Bike/Scooter, $15 - Cars, $20 - Trucks/Buses, $20 Campervans
Extra Info:
Highway Thunder is about getting as many cars together as we can to convoy under police escort from Loganholme Hyperdome to Parklands Showgrounds on the Gold Coast. The aim is raise much need funds for Bravehearts in their fight against child sexual assault. The Motely Crew are involved in helping to organise this years convoy and are hoping to gain the support of other 4WD clubs.

At the conclusion of the convoy there are a heap of activites planned for the adults and the kids. These include
Animal Farm
Jumping Castle
Slide
Face Painting
FMX Kaos (TBC)
GC Machinery demonstration
Car shown shine (trophies)
Trade displays
Mobile Police Station
Crime Stoppers
SES demonstration
Fire Safety demonstration
Magician
Local bands
Ballon Artist
Raffles & Prizes
4WD demonstration
Not only is this organisation a worthy cause to support, but what a great way for 4WD clubs to show that we are not just about bashing around the bush.
