Does anyone know whether you can take apart the stabiliser bar release assembly? The reason for the question is that ours is seized solid, i don't think it's ever been pulled.
That was the one thing we didn't check when we bought it.

I just had a look at mine, it appears to be held together by a row of phillips head screws, so it probably can be pulled apart.
Using the stabiliser release on my first GQ didn't seem to make any difference to how it drove off road, and it made no measurable difference to articulation. My current GQ I took the stabiliser bars off and run around with the shock absorbers adjusted up instead ( not as good as having stabiliser bars, but good enough for me).

Right, managed to get the thing off to find out there's nothing wrong with it , It's just really stiff because it's never been pulled,story of my life . So all is good and i know now how the thimg works
